New Year’s Berry Hibiscus Kombucha or Prosecco-Soaked Frozen Grapes

A frozen boozy (or non-alcoholic) treat for gatherings, charcuterie boards, or a sparkling snack.

Ingredients
  

  • 3-4 cups seedless grapes red, green, or mixed
  • 2 cups Berry Hibiscus Kombucha or Prosecco / sparkling wine use kombucha for a non-alcoholic, tangy version
  • 1/4–1/2 cup granulated sugar adjust to taste
  • Optional: splash of vodka if using Prosecco and you want extra booziness

Instructions
 

Prep grapes
  1. Wash grapes and remove from stems. Place in a large bowl or dish.
Soak
  1. Pour kombucha or Prosecco over the grapes so they’re mostly submerged.
  2. Cover and refrigerate overnight (8–24 hours) for the best flavor infusion.
Drain & Dry
  1. The next day, drain off the kombucha/Prosecc
Sugar Coating
  1. Place grapes in a bowl and gently toss with fine granulated sugar until lightly coated.
Freeze
  1. Spread grapes in a single layer on a tray and freeze 2–4 hours until firm. (Or immediately slip into a freezer bag to keep cold until serving.)
Serve
  1. Serve on skewers or in a cold dish as frozen bite-sized treats — they’re refreshing, candy-like, and festive!

Why It Works

Tip Variations

  • Non-alcoholic alternative: Use sparkling water with a splash of fruit juice if neither kombucha nor Prosecco is desired.
  • Citric pop: Add a squeeze of lime before freezing for a tart twist
